A major name now in south Indian cinema, actress Keerthy Suresh had a busy 2018 starting with Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavasi and carried forward the momentum with the Savitri biopic titled as Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil and Mahanati in Telugu.
She also played the female lead in a few biggies namely Thaanaa Serndha Kootam with Suriya, 'Thalapathy' Vijay’s blockbuster hit Sarkar directed A. R. Murugadoss, 'Chiyaan' Vikram’s Saamy 2 and in an important cameo in Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja.
Meanwhile, Keerthy has kicked off 2019 on a positive note by signing up for a Bollywood film, which will mark her debut in Hindi cinema opposite Ajay Devgan under Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner.
That said, Keerthy Suresh has signed on to 20th film, which will be bankrolled by Mahesh Koneru under his banner East Coast Productions and the project has been tentatively titled for now as Keerthy 20. To be directed by debutant Narendranath, a formal pooja was conducted in January and was graced by actor Kalyan Ram with the project going on floors now and the team announcing other important characters in the first schedule.
Now, the other important characters are played by Nadhiya, Naresh, Rajendra Prasad, Bhanushree Mehra and Kamal Ramaraju. The producer also revealed there are also other important actors that will be unveiled when they join the sets for their schedule.
