After Ivan Thandhiran, director R.Kannan is back with another social content in his next film Boomerang. The movie stars Atharvaa Murali, Megha Akash, Indhuja, Sathish and RJ Balaji in the lead roles. Arjun Reddy fame music director Radhan has composed the songs in this film and the audio was launched a couple of months back. The trailer which came out at the same time got a good reception from the audience for its strong social angle. Director R.Kannan has produced this film under his banner Masala Pix. Now, the official confirmation has come out from the team that Boomerang will be releasing worldwide on 21st December, for the long Christmas weekend.


Already, Dhanush’s Maari 2 has been scheduled to release on the same week and also Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakaathi, Jayam Ravi’s Adanga Maru and Vishnu Vishal’s Silukkuvarpatti Singam are the other movies officially confirmed to hit the big screens for the same date. Other than that, we have Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood biggie Zero hitting the silver screens on the same day.
