The duo Sathyaraj and Manivannan have given us some great movies together. Manivannan's combo with Sathyaraj both as a director and actor will be relished ever.

One of the memorable films from them is Nooravathu Naal. This is 1984 Tamil Thriller film which was later dubbed in Telugu and remade in Hindi too. The cast includes Vijayakanth, Mohan, Nalini and Sathyaraj who added more value to the script which is a suspense thriller of a psychopath.

The movie was a blockbuster with Ilaiyaraaja's music. The climax portion was much talked about. This epic film is now getting rebooted by Raghu Manivannan, son of late director Manivannan. Rebooting is quiet common in Hollywood but new for Tamil Cinema. Remaking is different from Rebooting.

When a film is rebooted, the crux of the plot is retained and the script is altered to meet the current taste of the audience. Hollywood Movies like Hulk, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Terminator were rebooted successfully. Raghu says he chose this film as it is one of the best from his father and he gave this idea to him when he was alive.

Sibiraj and UK Senthil Kumar have helped him a lot to pen the script. Sathuranga Vettai hero Natraj will play the lead in the reboot. He is now wielding the camera for Vijay's next Puli. Since he will be busy till March, Nooravathu Naal shoot will start from April.

Niro Praba will compose music, who is a student of AR Rahman. Cinematography is to be handled by UK Senthil Kumar and is Produced by ATM Productions. Story is by Manivannan. Screenplay, Dialogue and Direction is by Raghu Manivannan.
