Announced for a Diwali release in November, Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film, NGK, starring Suriya in the lead role has fans hooked with much anticipation.

A Yuvan Shankar Raja musical being produced under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner, production on NGK starring Sai Pallavi as the female lead is expected to wrap up sometime in August.

Meanwhile, producer S. R. Prabhu had not long back tweeted on his Twitter page that Suriya fans can expect a surprise on the actor’s birthday, which falls on July 23.

That said, Prabhu, a short while back took to his Twitter page to reveal an announcement is will be made today (July 18) evening at 5PM while answering a fan’s query on whether they can expect a word about NGK ahead of July 23.

Although it is unknown what this announcement could be, our best guesses would most likely be either a second look poster from NGK or another announcement on the film’s teaser or a production update.

It must be noted actress Rakul Preet Singh too is part of of NGK, which also includes Telugu actor Jagapati Babu, whom most believe could be playing the antagonist.
