Announced to hit theatres on August 8 is the highly anticipated ‘Thala’ Ajith starrer, Nerkonda Paarvai, which has massive expectations surrounding it; especially after the release of an intense trailer sometime back. Produced under Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner and director H. Vinoth helming the courtroom drama, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the songs and the musical score for the film from which two songs - "Vaanil Irul" and "Kaalam" have been released so far. That said, producer Boney Kapoor has now announced that the third single, the Nerkonda Paarvai theme track titled "Thee Mugam Dhaan" will be releasing later today evening at 6PM.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed four tracks for Nerkonda Paarvai among which one is a love duet centered on Ajith and Vidya Balan’s characters. An official remake of the smash hit Bollywood film, Pink, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, Nerkonda Paarvai includes an ensemble cast featuring names like Shraddha Srinath, Arjun Chidambaram, Abirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Adhik Ravichandran, Ashwin Rao, Rangaraj Pandey, KK Menon, Kalki Koechlin among others in important supporting roles.
