Being directed by Selvaraghavan under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner, Suriya 36 as it is tentatively being called officially kick-started with a formal pooja on New Year’s Day earlier this week.
Suriya 36 will mark the first time collaboration between Selavaraghavan and Suriya.
It has also been announced that actor Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in the film.

It has also been confirmed that Spyder actor Rakul Preet Singh plays the second heroine in the film.
Meanwhile, a leading technician has now been brought on board Suriya 36.
It has just been made official that stylist and designer Neeraja Kona will be handling the costume designs for the film.
