Actress Nayanthara has been staying at the top of the league successfully in comparison to her competition across all of south India over the past few years.
Nayanthara, who has 7 films in active development right now, has big plans for her fans with each of these films.
In that light, her Kolamaavu Kokila has generated quite a lot of curiosity with its title and the recent stills that have flooded the internet.
That being said, reports have now come out on Nayanthara’s character in Kolamaavu Kokila in which she is said to be playing a girl from a lower middle-class background.
Lovingly called as 'Lady Superstar', Nayanthara’s look in the film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Lyca Productions banner with music by Anirudh Ravichander too has won the hearts of her fans, who has nailed the appearance of her character to the best fitting version.
Although no release date has been allotted for CoCo as yet, it is believed the film would make it to screens in the second half of 2018.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara will also be seen in the biggie, Viswasam opposite Ajith with filming set to begin soon.
Her role in the action thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal has piqued the interest of her fans with the first visuals in the trailer released a while back leaving everybody spellbound.
Although only the first look poster was released, the horror film, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, has set the fans of 'Lady Superstar' debating the scope of her character and her performance.
Another yet-to-be-titled horror film was announced sometime back under the KJR Studios banner, which will be directed by Echcharikkai – Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam director Sarjun KM.
She also will be seen in the mammoth Telugu period film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, opposite 'Mega Star' Chiranjeevi along with Vijay Sethupathi, Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep among others.
In addition, the film Love Action Drama, opposite Nivin Pauly will be her return to Malayalam cinema under Dhyan Srinivasan’s direction, who also will be making his filmmaking debut.
