We all know that director Thangam's family drama Anajala, which is all set to release this Valentines' week, is a beautiful take of a family that fights back when there is a continuous threat to their ancestral tea shop by the government due to the expansion of roads. Primarily shot in Kuthukalvalasai near Tenkasi, the movie has Vemal, Nanditha and Pasupathi in the lead roles. Interestingly, actress Nanditha faced her biggest challenge while shooting for the film--playing the role of a tea lover. "I am not a great tea fan, and it was very challenging to play the role of tea lover, who loves tasting it," the actress revealed.
Gopi Sundar has composed the music while the film is produced by stunt master Dilip Subbarayan and distributed by Auraa Cinemas.
