Manmadhudu 2 is produced by Manam Enterprises, Anandi Arts and Viacom18, featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rakul Preet, Nasser, Lakshmi, Devadarshini, Akshara Gowda, Rao Ramesh and Vennela Kishore. The movie will also have Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Keerthy Suresh and Akshara Gowda performing in cameo roles. 23rd June marked the director, Rahul's birthday and on that occasion superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni dropped a video on behalf of the Manmandhudu 2 team that was behind the scenes of the director on sets. The footage showed a couple of funny moments of Rahul while filming the movie. The video captioned, "Happy birthday to my director @23_rahulr may this year be an incredible year for you!!! Rahul wrote, "Haha how sweet sir! Thanks a ton! Didn’t know they were recording all this", through which it was evident that he was unconscious of being filmed.
