Manivannan's comeback directorial venture Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA, which is a sequel of his 1994 superhit political film Amaithi Padai, has cleared the Censor formalities with a clean U certificate. Sathyaraj, Manivannan and Seeman are playing the lead roles, while Mrudula, Komal Sharma, Varsha and Raghu Manivannan will also be seen in important roles.
Music for the film is composed by James Vasanthan and cinematography is handled by Sankar. The film is produced by S Ravichandran and K Suresh under V House Production. Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA is Manivannan's 50th film as a director. The satellite rights of the film has been bagged by Zee Tamil. The film is likely to hit screens in May.
