Under S.A. Chandrasekar's direction, Sattam Oru Iruttarai, launched in 1982, and starring Vijayakanth, was a path beaking movie! This movie was made in Telugu with Chiranjeevi, Malayalam with Kamal Haasan, in Hindi with Rajni and Amitabh Bachchan, and in Kannada with Shankarnath! This movie, which saw success all across India, is now being remade in Tamil, under the same title! The film is being directed by debutant Sneha Britto, actor Vijay's cousin! This film, produced by Vijay's father S.A. Chandrasekar and Vimala Rani, stars Thaman Kumar, Reemma Sen and Pia Bajpai.

Music composed by Vijay Anthony was launched recently by Gemini Audio! Here we take a look..

The album opens with the western 'Uyire Uyire' rendered by Deepak and Vandana. This track has some foot-tapping lines which reminds us of Vijay Anthony's earlier compositions. Then comes 'Nimirnthu Nil' sung by Ajeesh and Santhosh. A club number with desi styled lyrics. 'Aadhaam Yaevaa' by Naresh Iyer and Harini is a semi classical melody and the singers have done a brilliant job.

'Poochaandi Paarvaiyilae' crooned by Vijay Antony and Srilekha Parthasarathi is the composer's trademark kuthu track with catch phrase. It is sure to rock the FM channels. Finally comes, 'Thirumba Thirumba' by Haricharan and Andrea, which is a romantic duet with a fusion of rhythms.
