Tamil cinema has seen the father-son combo over the years with the most prominent being Sivaji Ganesan and Prabhu, Vijay and his son Sanjay and, Jayam Ravi and his son Aarav Ravi in the upcoming Tik Tik Tik. Likewise, veteran actor Karthik and Gautham Karthik are now in the same project titled Mr. Chandramouli.


Directed by Thiru, Mr. Chandramouli stars 'Navarasa Nayagan' Karthik and Gautham Karthik with music by Sam C. S. produced under the Creative Entertainers Production banner. 


The film has Regina Cassandra playing the main female lead.


Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar too has been cast as one of the female leads.


The first look stills released a while back set everyone talking in the industry and assured us Mr. Chandramouli would be a delightful affair on the big screen. That said, the film’s director Thiru took to his Twitter page moments back to announce the film would be hitting screens this summer on April 27.
