Metro, an intense crime-thriller with a subject of chain snatching, was widely appreciated for its sensible content. Inspired by a real-life incident witnessed by director Anandakrishnan, the film showcased a realistic portrayal of the crime. The film was initially banned by the Central Board because of the violence displayed. However, after approaching the Revising Committee, it was passed with an 'A' certificate without any cuts. Now, director Anandakrishnan has finalised his next project which will have Ashok Selvan in the lead. A formal pooja was held in the city today.
