Actor Vijay Sethupathi announced his debut film as a producer through Orange Mittai, which has himself playing the lead role. A couple of months back we learnt that Merku Thodarchi Malai would be his second production venture.
The recent news is that the shooting of Merku Thodarchi Malai has commenced today. This film is directed by debutant Lenin Bharathi. Music director Ilaiyaraaja has been zeroed in to compose the music for this film.
Merku Thodarchi Malai has newcomers in the title roles. Cinematographer Eswar is cranking the camera for the film.
