Nagarjuna Akkineni's Manmadhudu 2 is expected to showcase him in a totally refreshing manner. The theatrical teaser and the promo videos also suggested that this film will be a youthful romantic entertainer. Directed by Rahul Ravindran of Chi La Sow fame, this film features Rakul Preet Singh, Vennela Kishore, Nassar, Lakshmi, Devadarshini, in the star cast, apart from Keerthy Suresh's cameo. Manmadhudu 2 is bankrolled by Annapurna Studios in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

Post the humongous reception given to the film's teaser, the makers have now released a new video, which focusses on the film's leading lady, Rakul Preet. The NGK actress will be seen as Avantika in this romantic entertainer and her character seems to be very interesting. She is modern, bold, gutsy, fun loving and vibrant. The teaser's tagline says, "You will love her or you will hate her", signifying the importance of her character.
