Director Kannan’s upcoming film is Oru Oorla Rendu Raja, starring Vemal and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Actor Soori will be providing the comic relief in this family entertainer. The film is all geared up to hit the screens on November 7.
Director Kannan is a former assistant of legendary director Mani Ratnam. He hinted that Mani Ratnam was able to watch a couple of songs from Oru Oorla Rendu Raja and was super impressed by it. Reportedly, the director appreciated Priya Anand’s performance in the ‘Mazhakaatha’ song.
The director also added that Vemal’s makeover in the film was liked by Mani Ratnam. Let us wait and see if the film does well at the box office.
