Malai Malai celebrating 100 days
With plenty of flicks, big, medium and small, releasing these days and many quickly sliding into oblivion, it’s quite a tremendous task for film-makers to come up with movies that run for even two weeks. Hence, once a movie hits the 100th day mark, it calls for a grand celebration indeed. It’s no wonder then that the Malai Malai team plan to make a big event of it, since the movie has completed a good 100 day run at cinemas across the state.
Malai Malai is an out-and-out mass action flick with actor Arun Vijay playing the explosive lead. Colliding with him head-on, wearing the baddie garb is Prakashraj, who proves once again why he continues to be one of the busiest supporting actors in the South. The two make for nice adversaries, and the action sequences are quite entertainingly choreographed! Arun has shaped up well for the action hero role that befits him quite well. Playing his love interest, and one of the main reasons the two Malais of the film are at loggerheads, is�ravishing petite beauty Vedhika. They say she hesitated to accept thi role, but now, she must be more than happy she did it.
Produced by Feather Touch Entertainment and directed by A. Venkatesh, Malai Malai is one of those rare masala flicks with all the spices in just the right proportion! The team is celebrating their 100 day achievement on 14th�November 2009, with actor Suriya playing the guest of honour.
