After the success of Bharat Aane Nenu, Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently working on his next titled Maharshi. Maharshi is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally stars Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Sonal Chauhan, Meenakshi Dixit, in prominent roles and music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is expected to be out this summer.

In April 2018, a huge announcement was made that Mahesh Babu will be teaming up with director Sukumar after 4 years. The combo had already worked in the movie 1 Nenokodaine which received some good reviews. The project was slow in its process as both the important were busy with other films.

And now after almost a year from its announcement, Mahesh Babu has come up with a shocking news stating that he won't be doing the film with Sukumar due to creative differences. The news comes as a shock for many as the combo is one of the most awaited one.

With both the talents parting away as of now, Mahesh Babu will be joining hand with Anil Ravipudi who recently directed the Telugu film F2 - Fun and Frustration. Anil Ravipudi's project is expected to go on floors from July this year and Sai Pallavi is the lead runner to bag the lead role. The movie will release for Sankranthi 2020. On the other side, Sukumar will be directing Allu Arjun's 20th movie.
