Kaja cyclone caused a huge disaster in the delta districts of Tamil Nadu including Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Pudukottai, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, Ramanathapuram and other districts around the belt. At least 45 people were killed and about 250,000 people were evacuated to relief camps.
Relief works are going on for the past one week and celebrities from the Kollywood industry have been contributing towards the relief fund.
Lyca Productions, the makers of Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 has now come out with a huge contribution towards the relief fund. Lyca Productions have announced Rs 1.01 Cr donation to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund for Gaja cyclone relief.
