Looks like there’s no stopping actress Nayanthara from signing up for upcoming projects as she has now given her nod for yet another women-centric film next.


To be directed by ad filmmaker Mahesh Vettiyar with cinematography by Madhu Neelakantan, Kottayam Kurbana will be the second Malayalam film the 'Lady Superstar' will be working after Love Action Drama under Dhyan Sreenivasan’s direction opposite Nivin Pauly this year. 


It must be noted the last time Nayanthara starred in a Malayalam film was in 2016 in Puthiya Niyamam, opposite Mammootty.


Kottayam Kurbana will be an addition to Nayanthara’s extensive film lineup as she has a packed year ahead starting with the Tamil action thriller, Imaikkaa Nodigal, alongside Atharvaa, Raashi Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo. 


She also has the horror film, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, in which she will reportedly play a deaf and mute character.


Then, there’s Kolamaavu Kokila, which has her appearing as a girl from a lower middle-class background.


The biggie, Viswasam, opposite 'Thala' Ajith has fans everywhere excited as it marks the fourth time reunion for both stars.


In addition, Nayanthara had signed up for yet another out-and-out horror film to be directed Sarjun KM, the man behind the upcoming Echcharikkai – Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam and the hugely popular Lakshmi and Maa short films.

She is also part of Eeram and Kuttram 23 director Arivazhagan’s next said to be a psychological thriller.

Finally, Nayanthara’s second Telugu film of the year, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy alongside 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep and Tamannaah is also being filmed at present.


With such a vast lineup ahead, Nayanthara’s fans will have plenty to rejoice.
