Post the success of Naachiyaar, GV Prakash is a happy man these days. The composer turned actor is a busy man with a line of projects in development already this year.
That being said, GVP was confirmed to be starring as the lead in director AL Vijay’s next film. As known to fans by now, the composer has collaborated with Vijay by scoring the music on for several of his films.
Meanwhile, reports have now started doing the rounds the makers of this upcoming film are eyeing leading actress and 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara for the female lead role.
As of now, nothing has been set in stone as discussions are said to be underway and filming will likely begin once the ongoing TFPC strike comes to an end.
GV Prakash has a tight year up ahead starting with the rural entertainer Semma.
He also has the musical romance film Sarvam Thaala Mayam featuring music by his uncle and Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman under Rajiv Menon’s direction.
GVP will be seen in Adangathey opposite Surbhi, Sarath Kumar and Mandira Bedi under Shanmugam Muthusamy’s direction.
4G is another fantasy-comedy film directed by Venkat Pakkar, which will see him opposite Gayathri Suresh.
Ayngaran marks his second time association with director Ravi Arasu after he had scored music for his Eeti.
100% Kadhal, the Tamil remake of 100% Love, will see him romancing Arjun Reddy sensation Shalini Pandey.
GV Prakash also is part of choreographer Baba Bhaskar’s Kuppathu Raja along side Parthiban, Palak Lalwani and Poonam Bajwa.
