For any female lead star to remain at the top of the league in the Tamil film industry is beyond a daunting task, which actor Trisha Krishnan has done for nearly two decades.


After a short lull in her career, Trisha made a stunning return to the top in Kodi in 2016 opposite Dhanush as the antagonist Rudhra.


Since then, Trisha has signed on to several films among which her horror thriller Mohini is being prepped for a summer. release


A film that many fans are expecting is Sathuranga Vettai 2 opposite Arvind Swami.


She also has Garjanai, the Tamil remake of hit Bollywood road thriller, NH10.


In addition, Trisha will be seen with Vijay Sethupathi in the romantic film, 96.


Trisha’s lineup also includes her Malayalam debut, Hey Jude, opposite Nivin Pauly.


Among those films, the gorgeous actor has also signed up for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual tiled 1818, which is said to be inspired by the events of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.


She will also be seen in Paramapadham Vilayattu where she plays a doctor who gets kidnapped with the film's plot focused on her using her intelligence to overcome the obstacles during her escape. This will be the second time she plays a doctor after Sarvam in 2009. 


With so many films lined up, Trisha has now given her nod for a film titled Kutrappayirchi in which she will reportedly be playing a private detective.

To be directed by Verniq, this Sri Guru Jothi Films production venture is said to be based on a true murder case and will go on floors soon.
