Kulir 100 degree releasing on June 5th!

Armed with an degree in engineering from the prestigious Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) and an M.F.A. in Filmmaking from Loyola Marymount University, California is Anitha Udeep. She now joins the passinate brigade of female directors who are making inroads in Kollywood. The Tamil film industry has seen a lot of talented women filmmakers such as T.P. Rajalakshmi, Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Madhumitha and most recently, Priya V.

Anitha Udeep has worked on two English films, and has the reputation of working with director Steven Spielberg and his crew for the science fiction movie Taken. She was one of the few people selected to work with Dreamworks, and she has come out with a Tamil film titled Kulir 100 degrees.

The film is about teenagers, and the problems they face while growing up. There is a lot of fun, adventure, comedy and an insight about school life. Kulir 100 degree has Sanjeev and Riya as the lead pair, while Karthik, Nitish, Syed and Abhishek form the supporting cast.

The camera is handled by L.K. Vijay and music is by BoBo Shashi. Anitha chose the title Kulir 100 degrees as it reflects opposites and also the state of mind of restless and reckless youngsters.

The audio rights have been bagged by Sony BMG. This is another film for�youth�this summer when the temperature will go beyond 100 degrees Fahrenheit!
