Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin has established himself to be a bankable star in recent times with films being released on a consistent basis.
The producer turned actor has already had a release at the start of this year in the form of his Nimir.
Udhay has been busy with the production of his upcoming film, Kanne Kalai Maane, opposite Tamannaah under National Award-winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy’s direction.
He has also signed up for a film to be directed by PS Mithran, who will be making his directorial debut with Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai.
Meanwhile, reports have been rife for a while on Udhayanidhi Stalin teaming up with director Atlee’s associate Enoc for a film next to be produced under the Red Giant Movies banner.
Talks surrounding the project have been quite strong for sometime now with actress Priya Bhavani Shankar said to be cast as one of the female leads.
Post her praiseworthy performance in Meyaadha Maan, actress Indhuja, who will next be seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury starring Prabhudeva, is also said to be cast in Enoc’s film.
That being said, reports are now doing the rounds stating veteran actor and Gautham Karthik’s father Karthik has been roped in to play Udhayanidhi Stalin’s dad in the upcoming film.
Apparently, production on the Udhayanidhi-Enoc project will kick-off once the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) strike comes to an end.
