As we all know, directors Karthick Naren and Gautham Vasudev Menon had a Twitter argument few months ago during Naragasooran’s post-production stage explaining the genuine points in their sides, and it became trending controversy at that time. Trailer launch cum press meet of Naragasooran held this morning (1st August).
During the event, Karthick Naren opened up about the GVM controversy by answering to a member of the press. He said, ‘Gautham Vasudev Menon called me soon after D16’s release and offered me for a collaboration with him. I accepted to do a movie under his production. But he could not fund for the movie after it was started. He is such an inspiration to me, and that is why I burst out emotionally in that situation. The production council has taken this to their count, and the progress to resolve this problem is going on’.
