Karthi's upcoming biggie Dev directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar is bankrolled by Prince Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. Dev has Rakul Preet Singh as the lady lead and has music by Harris Jayaraj. The movie is extensively shot in Chennai, Himalayas, Hyderabad, and Mumbai and the tease which came out a few days back got the eyes of everyone.
Harris Jayaraj has teamed up with Karthi for the first time in his career and expectation for the album is exceedingly high. And as an interesting update, sources close to us has revealed that the favored singer Benny Dayal has sung a song for Karthi in the movie. One of the popular hits from the combo of Harris Jayaraj and Benny Dayal is 'Unakenna Venum Solu' from Ajith's Yennai Arindhal. It seems like another exciting track is on its way from the duo. Dev is touted for a big release on December 21st.
