A section of the media recently reported that Santhanam's maiden production venture Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya (KLTA), is a remake of Indru Poi Naalai Va. However in an exclusive interview to Galatta.com, the ace comedian has denied it. He also clarified that the film is inspired from Bhagyaraj's classic flick but it is not a remake. He also revealed that the plot of KLTA also deals with three men who falls in love with a girl and tries to woo her.
The film will be a full-fledged comedy entertainer with Power Star Srinivasan, a doctor-turned-actor who has created a wave on internet, in an important role. Vishaka Singh and Sethu plays the supporting roles. Now the latest is that music composed by Thaman will be released by Shankar and STR on December 9, 2012.
The film, directed by Manikandan, is likely to hit screens on Dec 21.
