One of the most popular comedians of Kollywood, Kanja Karuppu, is all set to turn producer with Velmurugan Borewells, featuring Mahesh of Angadi Theru fame and Aarushi in the lead roles. The film, which will see Kanja Karuppu himself in an important role, is directed by Gopi of Malayan fame. Kanja Karuppu is producing the film under Tharun Kaath Film Factory.

Kanja Karuppu is best known for his roles in Raam, Paruthiveeran, Subramaniyapuram, Nadodigal and Kalavani.
