Atharvaa's Kanithan, directed by a newcomer Santhosh, has cleared the censor formalities with a clean U certificate. He is paired opposite Catherine Tresa of Madras fame. In the film, Atharvaa is essaying the role of a reporter in this film. He has also stated that he watched many news channels to understand the nuances of reporting. Athrarvaa added that Kanithan’s script was different with interesting elements.
Kanithan has music composed by Drums Sivamani. This film is tipped to be an investigative thriller.
