Kanchana is one of the few successful franchises in Kollywood and the next big movie from the popular horror-comedy franchise is Kanchana 3. The movie is directed by Raghava Lawrence and as the male lead in the movie. Kanchana 3 also has Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli as female leads and the movie is made under the banner of Sun Pictures.
Initially, the team of Kanchana 3 had April 18th in their mind for the big release but was later planned to pre-pond the release of the movie to April 12th or even April 5th to have an advantage over the long summer holidays. And now, the team has again changed its release plan due to the Lok Shaba Elections.
The election commission recently on Sunday announced that the Lok Sabha elections and the assembly byelections would be held in Tamil Nadu on April 18. Due to the announcement and the buzz around the election had the makers thinking and they seem to have gone back to their original plan. We head that Kanchana 3 will be hitting the screens on April 19th, a day after the election date.
In a way of confirming the released date, popular villain Kabir Duhan Singh, who is playing an important role in Kanchana 3 confirmed that the movie will be out on April 19th. The actor made the announcement on Twitter.
