With the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) strike coming to an end finally this week, all eyes are now on the release plan for the upcoming films which were initially scheduled to hit screens on particular dates among which 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s Kaala too was set to be coming out on the 27th of this month.

The 48-day strike period has no doubt affected the release plan of many upcoming films with many having speculated Kaala also to face the delay.

As per latest reports, the Rajinikanth starrer which also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani among others under Pa. Ranjith’s direction and produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films banner with music by Santhosh Narayanan could most likely make it to screens in June.

Meanwhile, there is also talk surrounding Kamal Haasan’s long-delayed Vishwaroopam 2 coming out before Kaala with reports stating the film could be out on screens in May.

Although there has been no statement yet on Vishwaroopam 2’s release date, we had reported a while back that the film was given a U/A certificate by the censor board, which the makers will most likely announce soon.

As known already, a teaser for Vishwaroopam 2 is also said to have been cut, which we can now expect to be unveiled sometime soon.
