A show that held the entire state hooked to their TV sets last year was the Tamil version of the reality TV show, Bigg Boss.
Bigg Boss Tamil went on to become a rousing success and also catapulted the popularity of several stars from the Tamil film industry with Oviya going on to be the most accepted.
As known to all by now, Oviya went on to be lapped up by the masses as their darling and she is now technically a bankable star with several endorsements and film projects lined up.
Meanwhile, another popular and a bigger name from the Bigg Boss show in the form of 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is expected to return to host the second season of the popular reality TV show.
There were some doubts among fans whether Kamal Haasan would return to host Bigg Boss after the actor announced his political entry by launching the Makkal Needhi Maiam party.
That being said, Kamal Haasan will most likely come back to hosting Bigg Boss as reports suggest the medium will be a platform for him to convey his political ideologies to the people of Tamil Nadu.
On the film front, the long-awaited Vishwaroopam 2 is expected to arrive in theatres sometime soon.
Kamal Haasan will also reportedly begin filming Indian 2 under Shankar’s direction from April.
