A raging debate across Tamil Nadu has been the formation of the Cauvery Management Board for which actor turned politician Kamal Haasan has now once again registered his opinion.
Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter page a short while back to call out the Central Government for delaying the setting up of the Cauvery Management Board yet again.
The Centre today again approached the Apex Court seeking an extension by two weeks time to frame a Cauvery water sharing scheme for which Kamal Haasan has issued a statement saying, "the people of Tamil Nadu will not forget this injustice".
Centre has delayed the formation of Cauvery water management board yet again. Justice delayed is justice denied. TN people will never forget this injustice.— Kamal Haasan (@ikamalhaasan) April 27, 2018
It must be noted the Supreme Court had ordered the Centre to draft a water-sharing scheme by May 3 for the Cauvery dispute. Meanwhile, the extension request by the Centre has made heads turn around the elections in Karnataka set to take place between May 12-May 15.
