Post his announcement to plunge into the political arena, actor Kamal Haasan has been actively involved in meeting several heads from all fields in his quest to make Tamil Nadu a better state in the days and years ahead.
Kamal Haasan, who has been outspoken on various relevant social issues in recent times has now spoken out against the Tamil Nadu government’s decision to allow the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) to conduct a Rath Yatra in the state.
The actor turned politician took to his Twitter page sometime back today to post his views on the ongoing furore over the allowing of VHP’s Rath Yatra in a tweet that stated a "procession with divisive political agenda is allowed with protection."
Voices for social harmony being throttled with 144 &arrests. Procession with divisive political agenda allowed with protection. The TN government, dancing to someone else's tune, is neither reflecting people's opinion nor being empathetic to students writing their board exams.

We can expect Kamal Haasan and his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam will no doubt be touching this issue extensively in the forthcoming days.
