A massive film in the making, Indian 2 has Kamal Haasan and director Shankar coming together after a gap of 23 years and this time under the Lyca Productions banner.
Featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, this sequel to the 1996 blockbuster, Indian, also includes Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead, veteran actor Delhi Ganesh with reports also suggesting Siddharth and Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.
With production on Indian 2 kickstarted last week, reputed comedy actor Vivek has now issued an important statement on his Twitter page about Kamal Haasan saying he has been a fan of the ‘Ulaganayagan’ ever since Apoorva Raagangal came out in 1975 irrespective of whether he has worked with him or not.
Vivek then went on to talk about director Shankar saying if his film and story demands a requirement for the actor’s services, the 2.0 filmmaker would definitely give him a call while also signalling that no further conversation on the topic is necessary.
I m a fan of @ikamalhaasan sir from school days! 1975 apoorva ragangal time! I was studying in Santhome high school. Till now I m a fan whether I work with him or not! If the story demands me, @shankarshanmugh will definitely call. And the conversation stops.— Vivekh actor (@Actor_Vivek) January 23, 2019
