Kamal Haasan launched the music of Sigaram Thodu today.

Talking at the event, Kamal Haasan remembered his close association with Vikram's family. He said, "My eyes have been speaking to Vikram since he was a kid because his grandfather (Sivaji Ganesan) spoke to me with his eyes like no one did."

He recounted an interview in which Sivaji Ganesan had said that Kamal had played on his lap more than his own son Prabhu. He announced that he was happy to be a part of this family.

Talking about Vikram he said, "Only genes do not spell success. Hardwork is key. And I can see the amount of hardwork Vikram has put into this film. This film's success is as important to me as it is to Vikram."
