The actor turned politician was scheduled to be attending the swearing-in ceremony of JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy as the Chief Minister of Karnataka today. However, the violence at Tuticorin yesterday has made Kamal Haasan skip the event, who is now traveling to the violence-struck district.
