Few days back, we had reported that a film was being planned with Vikram to be produced by Kamal Haasan’s production banner Raaj Kamal Film International under Rajesh M. Selva's direction. It must be noted that Kamal and Rajesh had previously collaborated on the 2015 hit film, Thoongavanam.
Now, it looks like we have an official word on the project from the 'Ulaganayagan' himself.
Moments back, Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter page to formally announce the project saying it would be helmed by Rajesh M. Selva jointly produced under his and Trident Arts banners with 'Chiyaan' Vikram and his daughter Akshara Haasan in lead roles and music by Ghibran.
His tweet is as follows:
My best wishes to Mr.Vikram, Ms.Akshara Haasan, Director Rajesh M Selva and Trident Arts who are joining hands with Raajkamal Films International to produce a film. Lets endeavor to make it a grand success.

This is indeed a huge announcement and will no doubt send both Kamal Haasan and Vikram fans into a state of euphoria.
