The rural entertainer, Kalavani was a sleeper hit romantic comedy of 2010, directed by newcomer A. Sarkunam. Actress Oviya was a debutante in the movie and its sequel Kalavani 2 was announced long back and its trailer was out on April 13, this year that collected 2 million views. And earlier today, it was notified that Kalavani 2's release date will be announced today at 5.30PM. Now, a reliable source close to us said that the movie will be releasing on June 28. This movie stars Vimal and Oviya in the lead along with RJ Vigneshkanth, Saranya Ponvannan and others in supporting roles. Directed by A. Sarkunam, kalavani2 is produced by himself under the banner Varmans Productions. The songs of the movie is composed by Mani Amudhavan, V2, V. Ronald Regan and the background music is done by Natarajan, editing by Raja Mohammed, and lyrics are penned by Vivekha, Arun Bharathi.
