Kalaignar Karunanidhi passed away yesterday evening at 6.10pm. Later, from the midnight, he was kept at Rajaji Hall for public viewing. There was a tough with the Tamil Nadu Government to bury the legend’s body at the respected Marina beach. But this morning, the verdict came out on DMK’s favour. At 4pm, the final procession began from Rajaji Hall to Marina Beach. And now at 7pm, the cremation process is fully complete and his body has been buried at Marina beach. The Sun has set, but his ideologies and words will remain in this world forever.
