DMK party politician Kalaignar Doctor Karunanidhi is 95 years old now. He was born on 3rd June 1924 in Nagapattinam for Mr. Muthuvel and Mrs. Ammaiyar.
He was the third child for his parents after two elder brother namely Periyanayagam and Shanmugasundaram.
Many of us know that Karunanidhi is a huge fan for the game of cricket but it is unknown that he has played for his school Hockey team.
During his 8th standard schooling, in the year 1939, he narrated his first stage speech and the topic was about ‘Friendship’.
In 1941,he started to write his own monthly magazine named ‘Maanava Nesan’. Later he began a students welfare formation named as ‘Tamizh Maanava Mandram’.
At his young age, he followed a public friendly political party which fights for people’s justice.
He got attracted towards Politics by the part member named ‘Azhagirisamy’. Hence he named one of his sons as ‘Azhagiri’.
