Ever since it was announced actress Jyothika would be teaming up once again with filmmaker Radha Mohan after their Mozhi in 2007, expectations shot up.


To be a remake of the hit Bollywood film, Tumhari Sulu, which starred Vidya Balan, production on the upcoming Tamil version will kick-off in July under Dhananjayan Govind’s BOFTA Media Works banner.


Meanwhile, the makers of the upcoming Tamil remake had announced a contest for fans to guess the title of the film where the winners will get an opportunity to meet and interact with the stars for an entire as well as observe the shoot.


Now, the makers have announced the film’s title to be Kaatrin Mozhi with Jyothika set to reprise Vidya Balan’s role from the Hindi original as a Radio Jockey.

Kaatrin Mozhi will also feature actor Vidharth in a vital role with reports stating he could be playing Jyothika’s husband in the film.


Furthermore, it has been revealed that A. H. Kaashif, composer and nephew of Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, will be scoring the music for Kaatrin Mozhi, which will also include National Award winner Praveen K. L. handling the editing.
