Right from the moment of its announcement till date, ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has left film aficionados intrigued.
Jointly being produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is also being made in Telugu as Nawab with music by A. R. Rahman.
A film with a massive star cast, reports have now popped up claiming Arvind Swami and Jyothika are playing a married couple since a wedding scene is said to have been shot featuring them.
Filming has come to a halt owing to the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) on Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which also has Simbu as one of the lead stars.
'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi is said to be appearing as a cop in the film once again after his 2016 hit, Sethupathi.
CCV will also see actor Arun Vijay appearing in a biggie after his Yennai Arindhaal in 2015 and a commendable performance in Kuttram 23.
As for the other female leads, Aishwarya Rajesh is scaling heights after being cast in Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram and Dhanush’s Vada Chennai.
Kaatru Veliyidai made Aditi Rao Hydari a heart-throb and she will once again be seen in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
