Jothi turns hero
Jothi Krishna, son of well-known producer A.M. Ratnam is the latest addition to the hero club. Jothi had directed his younger brother Ravi Krishna in Enakku 20 Unakku 18 and Kedi. His first experience in movies was as script-writer in K.S. Ravikumar-directed Natpukaga, featuring Sarathkumar in a dual role.
Jothi will be seen in the garb of an actor-director in Ooh La La. Playing his love interest is debutante Preethi Bhandari, supported by Ganja Karuppu, Chitti Babu and `Oh Podu' Rani.
Nursing a desire to direct, Jothi underwent an one-year director's course in London. Though Jothi's career is still to zoom, he is happy that two famous actresses – Ileana and Tamannaah – shared screen space in Kedi.
Viewing acting as another bow to his string, Jothi said his immediate task is to see the actor in him surface.
