Producer SR Prabhu’s Joker which had dream run last year wins the award in the Best Film category at the Norway Tamil Film Festival 2017. Directed by Raju Murugan, Joker is a political satire film starring Guru Somasundaram as the hero. Other winners were Vetri Maaran (Best Director for Visaranai), Vijay Sethupathi (Best Actor for Dharmadurai) and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar (Best Actor Female for Tharaai Thappattai).
