A little birdie states that actor Jiiva has sung the promo song for director S A Chandrasekar's next movie Touring Talkies. Jiiva and Vijay became good friends after they acted together in director Shankar's Nanban. Now, Jiiva has sung for Vijay’s father and thus joins the list of heroes who have sung for movies in which they did not act in. This is the director's 69th film and music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja; the duo are working together after a long gap. The last time they worked together was for Superstar Rajinikanth's Nan Sigappu Manithan.
