Actor Jai who plays an Islamic youth in Thirumanam Ennum Nikah, is said to have become a follower of the religion in his real life too. It is also said that he has been practicing the Islamic way of life for the past one year, as he has fallen in love with a Muslim girl. The special girl is said to bike racer Alisha Abdullah, whom Jai was spotted supporting among the audiences during one of her races. Jai has even followed the Ramzan fast last year and is said to have even been going to a mosque for prayer, every Friday.
