Jackie Chan's Book Never Give up was initially released in 2015 and was translated into English for the first time since its release. Chan had made some shocking revelations in the book that left his fans shocked. He had written about his involvements in Drinking, Gambling, and Prostitution. 


The Police Story actor had further admitted that his drinking has nearly ended his career and began to erode his professionalism. He had further revealed that he had cheated on his wife Joan Lin with the beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi Lei, who was 1990 Miss Asia. He had also stated that he wasn't the best father and was regretful for his actions in the past.
