Papanasam is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam magnum opus Drishyam. In this remake, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan and Gauthami are reprising the roles played by Mohanlal and Meena in the original.
We hear that the shooting of this film has been completed and the team is all geared up to get into post-production. Sources say that Papanasam might hit the theatres early in 2015.
Actress Nivedha Thomas plays Kamal’s daughter in Papanasam. Director Jeethu Joseph, who has helmed the original is directing the remake as well. We hear that the post production work of the film will kick start by November first week.
