Ithu Kathirvelan Kadhal, in which Udhayanidhi Stalin will be seen as a hero for the second time, has Nayantara as his leading lady. The crux of the story is how a staunch devotee of Hanuman takes a turn in his life after seeing a beautiful girl. Udhayanidhi plays the role of an unemployed guy Kathirvelan and he is swept off his feet by Nayantara who plays Pavithra, a beautiful middle class girl.
Ace photographer Sunder Ramu who shot to fame with Mayakkam Enna and 3 plays an important role in the film. Directed by S.R. Prabhakaran of Sundarapandiyan fame, this film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj.
